Released August 6, 2026. Installation from ZIP requires Google Chrome with Developer mode enabled.
Installation and updates
- Download the current version from the download page.
- Extract the ZIP to a permanent folder.
- Open
chrome://extensionsand enable Developer mode. - For the first installation, click “Load unpacked” and select the ContinuForge folder.
- For a manual update, replace the files in the same folder and click “Update” on Chrome’s extensions page.
Frequently asked questions
The ContinuForge icon is missing
Check that the extension is enabled in chrome://extensions, pin it to the Chrome toolbar, and refresh the ChatGPT page.
I cannot sign in
Check the email or login and password. New accounts must confirm their email using the link in the message. A new confirmation email can be requested from the account page.
The interface did not change after an update
Click “Update” on Chrome’s extensions page, then reload the ChatGPT tab.
How should I report an error?
Include the ContinuForge version, Chrome version, the exact action before the error, and the error text. Attach a screenshot only when it contains no private information. Do not send passwords, chat content, or user files.
Account and data deletion
To delete the server account, email support@continuforge.com from the registered address. Local extension data can be removed through Chrome’s extension settings or by removing the extension.
